By now I’m sure lots of EarthBound fans know about these, but Zac Gorman at Magical Game Time has been doing some awesome video game comics, a couple of which are EarthBound. Here’s one that caught many people’s eyes:

Mother 2 and a Half Comic

If you’re an EarthBound/MOTHER fan, most likely you’ve come across something PsiPaula4 has made, whether you’ve known it or not. One creation of hers is a comic called “Mother 2 and a Half” that’s meant to explain some theories on how the first two games connect.

EBrent has translated another batch of MOTHER 2 manga, this is again from “Shounen Oh Comics – Game Comic Vol. 2″.

I love that cookie one for some reason

MOTHER Manga: Believe

kenisu, the big-time fan of the original MOTHER game, has done it again! This time he’s translated the MOTHER 1 manga called “Believe”. I believe (heh) that it’s a doujinshi, but please correct me if I’m wrong.

Anyway, since it’s the whole thing and many pages of large file size, you can download it from MegaUpload here. Definitely check it out if you’re a fan of the first game or if you’re still slowly getting into it.

These come from “Shounen Oh Comics – Game Comic Vol. 2″, which you can read more about here. I’ve never seen stuff from this particular manga collection before, so this is a neat treat

Satsy’s been doing some great work scanning in all kinds of official MOTHER manga, if you’re interested in seeing the Japanese versions or if you can somehow help translate them, see here! It sounds like a couple other folks have jumped on the manga-translating bandwagon, so hopefully we’ll get even more translated manga to enjoy soon

After my recent post with some translated MOTHER 2 manga, superfan Satsy started up a site where she posts scans of MOTHER 2 manga, in the hopes that other translators might want to translate them too sometime.

You can check the site out here, and even if you can’t/don’t want to translate, you can still look at the pretty pictures

A long while ago I also posted a full raw set of one of my own mangas, you can check it out and download that here.

I’d love to put up an archive of all known translated manga, so if any more translations are made, let me know and I’ll set something up!

I’ve been studying Japanese for a couple of years, and thought I’d try translating a few of the Mother 2 4-komas you put up on EBC a while back as practice. I’m still pretty new at this, so they may not be perfect. But if they’re acceptable, I’d love to share them with the community.
