A while back I posted about how Shigesato Itoi had a special, limited-edition type of curry. I found out recently that he also had a limited run of instant ramen:
I don’t have any details to go with this discovery, but if anyone comes across any more info, let me know!

I used to eat ramen a lot but I ate it so much I grew tired of it and don’t really like it any more. Despite that I’m curious if this ramen tastes different then regular ramen.

Hm, I certainly wouldn’t mind resorting to basically living on that type of ramen for the duration of my uni education. Admittedly, being a crosspromotion it probably wouldn’t have been quite as cheap (assuming Japan is anything like anywhere else) and therefore would have defeated the purpose of living on it alone.

Actually you can eat them. Dried noodles have a shelf-life of like 1-2 decades. Sometimes, if stored properly they can last indefinitely.. Depending on storage conditions and the fact it is sealed would be fine to consume, however, instant ramen tastes better if prepared before the 6th month mark.
