March 9th, 2010 | Auctions, EarthBound
Remember those official EarthBound Pogs that hit eBay a week or two ago? The auction finally ended and the final price was $255.

Hopefully they’ve found a good home, possibly as part of an EarthBound shrine

19 Comments to EarthBound Pogs Sell for $255
Nope, LT got sniped. I had a snipe set for $250, LT’s max was $250, it seems, and we both got out-sniped by someone with an even fatter wallet.
I wanted to say “Hah, you couldn’t even plan that kinda thing” but I’m willing to bet it was.
Of course it goes for 255.

Perhaps this was already discussed in the other Pog post, but what do these have to Mother 1 or 3? False advertising on ebay much?

It’s pretty common to see them do that sort of thing. A large percentage of auctions I see have a bunch of extra keywords thrown in like that.
EDIT: Just as I postd that, someone put up a Mother 3 Deluxe Box with “EarthBound 1+2″ in the auction title even

Holy crap! A Mother 3 Deluxe Box with EarthBound 1+2 inside? That must be really rare! I’d better…
Heeeeeey, wait a minute…

If you can afford it, sure. It’s a pretty rare item, especially when the pogs are still connected to the cardboard backing, so the price seems reasonable to me.

I put a max bid of $250 also, and I probably would have tried a lot higher, but I am trying to save some money to buy and restore a classic car
These things are worth that much!? Dang…I won a mint condition set (not punched out) about a year ago for only $80.00. I keep them framed on my wall next to my air freshener. They bring EarthBoundy love to every day.
