That auction for EarthBound ruler that hit eBay earlier this week just ended. I managed to catch the last 30 seconds after someone mentioned it was almost over. It went to 305 or so, then suddenly it jumped to about 715 just seconds after that. It ended at $776.47.
I dunno who won it, but congratulations, you have a super-rare piece of EarthBound merchandise and history. Just don’t let any crows steal it from you

Congratulations to whoever the winner was! Hope you give it a good home and measure lots! Argh…I tried, but can never win a popular ebay auction for the life of me. I always get so nervous and jittery at the end.

I watched until about 40 seconds left [I had to do some stuff], and it was about $212 when I left and when I went back and saw, I was just like Ninji.

I am the one who won the Earthbound Ruler. I have been visiting this site for a while now, but this is my first post. I did try for the EB0 Proto, but that was just out of my reach. I will take pictures of this when I receive it and send them in.

Well, the winner wasn’t LucasTizma; it seems his max was $300.
My first guess at the final price when I saw this auction was $700, but I’m still actually a little surprised it went for that much.
It’s comforting to know there are crazier, more extravagant fans out there than me.

Heh. Well it’s my own damn fault. I was contacted by the seller and offered to sell it for $200 directly! More than $300 was a little bit too high for my tastes. Oh well. Congratulations!
