@PK Mt. Fuji, to make this without Gmod would still require a game-engine, most likely the source engine since this game is made for it. It would still require a source-game.

Three Things: One, what in the world is GMod? Two what’s a Chimera, this may sound shocking but I’ve NEVER played MOTHER 3 before, I’m not done with EarthBound yet, and I’ve only played a little tiny bit of MOTHER 1/EB0. And Three, If this is an add-on, then does that mean there was an original Chimera Hunt??? If so, then where can I download the original and do I need it to play this add-on, sort of like an RPG expansion pack??? >.< I am confused…

One: Google can answer that question more efficiently than I can. Just search for “gmod” and you’re set.

Two: A Chimera, in the context of Mother 3, is an artificial creature created by the Pigmasks by combining normal animals in strange ways. They also often have robot parts.

Three: It’s an add-on, yes — for Gmod. Which you will need to play Chimera Hunt.

We can’t really enter it into the Fretta contest, since it will be packaged with GMod and basically sold, we don’t own the rights to the majority of the content.

I’ve downleaded it too, but I didn’t have a gamemodes folder so I made one.
I haven’t checked around for servers… But how can I be sure if I’m going to a Chimera Hunt Server?

Nevermind, I found a Server. The game is incrediblly fun, but playing as the Chimera is hard.
Also, work fast to get your target, if not others will do it before you, and get CAPES

G-mod = Garry’s Mod. It’s a third-party piece of software that allows you to mess around and customize elements of Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2. As far as I know, it’s free. That’s pretty much all I can tell you, though – I bought HL2 and TF2 on Playstation 3.

KIckface: You need to find a server that is running this gamemode. The easiest way to do this is open the multiplayer server listing and filter for “uch” (which stands for Ultimate Chimera Hunt). All of the maps used in the gamemode should start with uch. Most of the time you will download the game and any content (excluding textures and models borrowed from Valve games, especially TF2) automatically.
