I’m working with a friend of mine on a pack of MOTHER related items for the popular Half-Life 2 mod Garry’s Mod. He’s making/ripping models from various parts of the MOTHER games and Brawl while I work on the scripting.
Currently I have the Mr. Saturn done and I’m working on the Saturn Coffee table, and my friend is currently rigging and animating the Ultimate Chimera and I plan to turn it into an enemy you can fight.
We really love this series and felt like we had to do something to show it! Here’s a preview of the Mr. Saturn entity, note that almost none of the code was complete at the time of posting it and I’ve gotten a lot more done. I’ll hopefully have more to show soon.
Looks pretty cool, here’s hoping there’s more to come!

OMG YES YES YES YES YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESSSSSSS omG i CAN’T WAIT OMG YES YES. IS HE RIPPING THE MODELS FROM BRAWL? Can he throw in Lucas, Claus and Ness in there? Lucas and Claus are now impossible to find and Ness never made it in. If they’re not ripping them from brawl I’d like to see some Drago action.

Lol oh whoops he is ripping them from brawl, but he says from the Mother games AND brawl… what does he mean by the mother games? Ripping sprites from the actual games? Making 3D models based on the sprites? Sorry I’m just really excited.

I remember requesting Earthbound stuff for Gmod on facepunchstudios forever ago. I never thought somebody was going to make entities. This is going to be great!

rawpower7: I believe he means he’s making original models based on objects from the Mother series. Difficult, I imagin, but possable.
I look forward to this. I already have the Orange Box, maybe this will push me into getting Garry’s Mod.

LightningLuigi: Yes it is very possible but very, VERY difficult. That is why it will be interesting to see what he makes. And also I highly recommend getting Garry’s Mod. Not only to support this guy, but it’s only $10 on steam and there is so much you can with it and all kinds of free addon content to download and besides, with the orange box you already have a ton of content to start with. Oh man once this comes out I would imagine a huge influx of fantography.
