The other day, Itoi posted a picture of what he says is his usual breakfast:

(click to big)
Got some fish, rice, miso soup, seaweed, and other stuff. Pretty average Japanese-style breakfast, and probably why he’s still in such good physical and mental health at his age. Maybe I should stop ordering deep-fried pizzas every morning…

Such an ambitious breakfast… from my point of view at least.
I’m seldom hungry when i wake up, so i usually just make some simple bread thingy and milk.
Where was this posted? I don’t see it anywhere on the usual Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun blog.

His dog reminds me of the mushroom dog in M3.

Maybe I should try chopsticks for once…
Maybe I should starting eating breakfast…
I can’t fathom the idea of eating so soon after I get up, so I just wait until lunch and have a tuna sandwich or something.
That fish looks pretty good… *A*
I wish it were possible to find nice places that served meals like this in the US. Sadly, American Japanese food restaurants seem to be either too pricey, too scarce, or too inauthentic =(
Wow, O__o that is one big breakfast. All I usually have is Cereal(one bowl).
I hate how fish is healthy, but not delicious at all
also how can you eat so much in the morning

I think that picture has more than just his though, since he probably eats breakfast with his wife. That’s why it seems like there’s so much.
I don’t think I’d want fish that early in the morning. Miso soup and rice might be good, though.
oh man, I’d be in heaven if I could have that for breakfast every day. *drool*
thats almost similar to what i have for breakfast, being half korean lol

I would like to eat his breakfast, (I tend to eat a lot, anyways.) especially if I had to do tons later in the day.
By the way, what does he drink at breakfast?
(P.S. Bread is the main part of the typical Puerto Riccan breakfast here, though I also eat cereal or potatoes, the latter due to my pseudo-Chronn’s…)
That breakfast looks big!, compared to my bowl of cereal and friend eggs… Also, i wonder if he drinks something during the breakfast
I come from the land of breakfast hate. I’d rather have pancakes for dinner (brinner, anyone?) than first thing in the morning.
What I mean to say is that when pizza’s on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime.

Why don’t they just put all their food on one plate?
I’ve seen this strange divided presention style in more than one Japanese meal setting. While it looks nice, it’d kind of a pain to grab everything.
Btw, totally have miso+rice for breakfast occasionally. Last summer I did almost daily.
Yeah, everyone can make excellent games if they have THAT for breakfast >_>
