Here’s a really nice MOTHER 3 animation set to the MOTHER 3+ “Love Theme” song. It has spoilers, for those few who still haven’t played the game for whatever reason
I really like this simple art style and coloring of this. It feels very faithful to the game’s style somehow.

I have seen this. Absolutely beautiful.
The version of this with Tears in Heaven made me cry T_T

That was so sad. :[
Argh. I have to skip this one!
Just got through Club Titiboo.
I’m slow, I know.
If the song wasn’t enough to get me emotional, those illustrations are. Then when Ness shows up at the end in front of the ASC… that was it for me.
Chills throughout the whole thing. Fantastic.
someone could say me What Ness is doing here, in front of porky’s machine?
I haven’t played the game yet, and for very good reasons. I’ve had a lot of trouble with flash carts, and I’m still waiting for my player’s guide to arrive. On top of that, I want to beat Mother 2 again before playing Mother 3. But glad to hear that every single EB fan on the planet rushed to play the game on it’s release and I’m only one of the “few who haven’t played it yet for whatever reason”.
The only real spoiler was obviously the fact that Flint is bald. >_>
Seriously though, anticipation for the M3 Translation patch caused people to spoil the most important things all over the web and the game was pretty well spoiled for me before the patch was ever finished. Flint’s baldness was about the only thing that really came as a surprise to me

Poochy: Well, it HAS been like half a year since the patch has been out
Not saying there’s anything wrong with it though, everyone’s got their own situation.
Besides, not every fan on the planet rushed to play the game right away. The mole people still haven’t been told that the patch is finally out.
TheGlitchmaster and Poochy – I applaud your restraint. I managed to make the game last about six weeks by playing it mostly just on weekends (and then mainly when I was riding the train to go visit my dad). I have a hard time with games, not just charging right through the whole thing. I managed to do it with this one because I’m betting there’s never going to be another one.
I’m always happy to be wrong – I thought the same after Earthbound.
Man, not many games manage to nail that emotional connection with the player like Mother 3 does.
Great music and imagery combination. It captures the same kind of feeling that the original scene did.

Wow, that was very well done! Kudos to whoever made it… I loved Ness at the end!
That was amazing. Beautifully done.
It really brought the stories together for me.
Earthbound was about a boy facing his best friend, who just went down the wrong path.
Same thing happens in Mother 3. Very tragic story.
Very nice!
It took the Mother series to teach me just how sentimental fade-to-white can be.

Aw man, that brought a few tears to my face, it’s like playing the ending of the game again just as Earthbound Zero just said. Excellent video nonetheless! (:
NO WAY!
This is one of my favorites, too.
I get all… TEARY whenever I watch it.
Tomato has good taste.
Especially when it’s POUNDED into a sauce.
Tomato, I know it’s been almost six months. Believe me, it’s been a long, painful wait. I had tons of other games I was in the middle of playing, and then there’s also the fact that I sorta got, you know, a job to go to every night!
Earthbound is really special to me, so I have to make sure I play this sequel to this game I first played 11 years ago under the best possible circumstances possible, which means I can’t be in the middle of ten other RPGs while playing Mother 3. When I play Mother 3, it will be the ONLY video game I devote my time to until I have completed it and hopefully for a long time after. I guess in a way I’m sort of reliving my childhood..
@ Samwibatt: And I applaud you for not rushing through the game! Six weeks sounds like plenty of time to enjoy Mother 3–even though I intend to play it on more than weekends, I’ll probably make it last just as long if not longer. I like to take my time with games, explore, talk to people…that sort of thing. Shigesato Itoi once said that the beautiful thing about RPGs is that you can stop playing an RPG for weeks at a time and then pick it up again and get right back into the story and not feel like you missed out on anything. He also said that he expects people to enjoy Mother 3 for a long time to come, so I’m pretty sure he knows that there are Mother fans old and new alike that have yet to even play Mother 3.

I’ve seen this video before, and I really like it. =) It’s nice to see people drawing MOTHER characters in a simplistic style.
I’m not sure I understand why Ness showed up at the end, though.
i know this video! this is one of my favorites, and every single time i watch it, i cry. my friends think i’m so weird, but they just don’t understand lol
I think Ness at the end is like Porky slowly going crazy, all he can see or think about is the trouble Ness caused him, so like that’s why Ness faded in the way he did.
I cried, it’s the ending all over again. “sniffle” That was amazing!
I loved Ness at the end. That video was perfect.
I think I actually cried a little. My eyes were watering slightly, but I wasn’t too sad since I knew how everything goes in the game…

I love this one. It’s so original.
Augh~!
That was a really touching video. The fact that the art style is so simple is part of what makes it such a moving video because it sort of echoes the initial innocence of the characters, eh?
I think I’m a little choked up. ;_____;
Ness at the end made me lose it.
Him representing Pokey, who is deserving of sympathy, being forgiven by his only ‘friend,’ or being attended to in his dark hour by the memory of him. Or something. Forgiveness love etc.
