Depending on how things go (it’s still VERY much up in the air how this is all gonna go down), I might be up for implementing some of the text fixes in the MOTHER 1+2 patch, if the MOTHER 2 part ever takes off. Since the game will already have most of the other stuff in its original form (the bar, for example), that’d be handy.

It’s a HUGE script though, so it’s hard to say anything for sure. But it’s a possibility.

Mato, will you ever make a Earthbound ROM “original translation patch”? It would be so cool to play this with all of the original Japanese dialog and other awesome scene and name changes you’ve pointed out on M2/EB. Like the fact that Everdred is actually more of a criminal and the whole Tonzura Bros thing.

Any chance that will ever happen, kind of the way you did Mother 3? Or is it just very wishful thinking…

In the fourside section, you mention not seeing the meaning of “Geldegarde” or somesuch? It looks to me like it’s trying to stay on the money theme with “Gold Hoarding” as his name, vaguely?

Ah, nice! I’m always happy to see M2EB updates, even if I’ll miss the old starry walpaper.

And those “head things” the nurses are wearing are actually called “Nurse’s caps,” as boring as that sounds. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nurse's_cap has the hookup.
