MOTHER 3i was the iTunes MOTHER 3 soundtrack that came out after MOTHER3+, which had an actual CD release. Because it’s only in digital format, an online booklet was made for the album. A lot of people don’t know this fact, or have forgotten about it, so I thought I’d mention it real quick here.
Like a lot of album booklets, there isn’t a whole lot of stuff in it, but you can mess around with some sprites and also look at some nice images using the game’s graphics. You should also just look around the entire MOTHER 3 section of Itoi’s site if you get the chance anyway.
MOTHER 3′s musician also did some liner notes for the MOTHER3i songs. I plan to translate them at some time (it’s high on my priority list), and I know people will find it to be nice and interesting.
BTW, just in case people aren’t aware, MOTHER3i and MOTHER3+ are both available on American iTunes. I don’t know if it’s available elsewhere, but a while back everyone was shocked when they got released outside of Japan all of a sudden. So check the album out, it’s by far the fan favorite of the MOTHER 3 soundtracks.

Surprisingly, both Mother3 soundtracks are also on the Canadian iTunes store… most of the time, the Canadian Store is pathetically empty compared to it’s southern counterpart.

I don’t think those booklets were always available. I got both soundtracks several months after they were released, and I never got a booklet along with the album.
Maybe I’m just not understanding this well, is a booklet also included when purchasing the album from iTunes?

I saw this post, i crossed my fingers, they were available on the UK store and i bought them both right away.
Crossed fingers have a tangible effect on reality, it’s quantum or something.

Those Mother 3 flukes are the coolest things ever. It’s really neat how the sprites in Mother 3 seem like they were made to fit in a larger world, like they’ve always existed and we’re just coming in to see the middle.

I’ve had that thing saved since late 2007 because I was paranoid that it wouldn’t be around someday. I’m glad it is being well-preserved.
I love Lighter and Fuel. Not enough love for them.

(I’m playing Mother 3 from the first day of the patch, I’m at chapter 7, playing veeery slowing ’cause I like too much, I don’t wanna finish it)
