I honestly don’t see what is up with this “Buissness” route they are taking, with avoiding their fans. I know the whole legal issues ( if you don’t see here http://earthboundcentral.com/2009/02/earthbound-legal-issues/ ) but if Nintendo tried, they would have had EB on VC by now.

A ton of people have been saying that Nintendo doesn’t hate us, and they say the people who generally say that are just having their hurt feelings getting in the way. But Nintendo does SOMEWHAT care, but honestly, they don’t want to go threw the trouble.

Well, he basically says it. But really, can someone explain to me how ignoring a large fan base makes money? It is simple math: FANS+GAME THEY WANT= BIG MONNEY. The legal changes cna be made, and if the creators of MOTHER in Japan don’t want a change, then they can go with a large jar, and filling it up with $100 every day.

And are the legal issues even that bad. A quick Google search tells me that music changed from original isn’t 100% illegal. Simply changing the music can do. (But some of the music is too similar, and HAS to be changed)

And also, some earlier post on another post, already said this, but you can’t just wake up and say “You know what? I’m going to sue Nintendo for using the first four notes of a song” It doesn’t work that way. It costs money to sue, and there is no gurinti you will win.

And also, their are other targeted “issues” other then Nintendo. I can go sue Harry Potter for using the first nine notes of “Jack in a Box” in their intro.

So just a tally up and a sum: Nintendo isn’t trying to get EB on VC, and they clearly don’t “Care” as much as we think we do.
